Given past feedback from my work on the Lyrical Extension
brand, I have decided to improve the finishing of the piece.
The idea of the project was original and answered a legitimate
yet not immediately nagging problem. But the outcome of
the piece was unresolved. Such a promising project
shouldn't be ignored. - especially when I don't hate it yet.
So, the general art direction was immediate and grabbing,
which was the idea, yet the content essentially lacked
commitment to design.

The blue lines focus on the decision to leave a 3mm gap
between the page number and zine title. The reasoning
behind this is to maintain a structure that the reader can
easily follow. This is a piece of educative design- it has
to be as easy as it can be for the large range of audiences
to follow and learn.
It is important to enforce a rigid structure when creating
such a large brand. There is a lot of groundwork to
cover. There are multiple themes such as 'The Romantics'
and 'The Narrative' - to name a few, which, in turn have
many sub - categories that encompass specific poets.
